PROJECT TOGO

PROJECT TOGO works directly with the local people on-site - from the establishment of nurseries, the cultivation of indigenous tree species, the implementation of firebreaks and protective hedges to the care, monitoring and management of forests and arable land as well as additional infrastructure measures. The focus is on education, water, energy, jobs and health. Project Togo empowers the area and offers the local population long-term prospects.

Wasserkraft Kinnaur Karcham Wangtoo

Der Sutlej River entspringt in Tibet in der Nähe des 6.714 m hohen Berges Kailash im Himalaya. Das Wasserkraftprojekt Karcham-Wangtoo bildet einen Teil eines Gesamtplans für die Entwicklung des Wasserkraftpotenzials des Sutlej- Einzugsgebiets. Die Projektaktivität wurde entwickelt, um den akuten Mangel an Stromerzeugungskapazität in der nördlichen Region Indiens.

Support of a specific ecological, social or combined measure. No particular CO₂e effect is stated.

Legal classification

What EmpCo permits

Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.

The important limit

No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.

Application

The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.

Notes on communication

Information instead of promised effects

Communicate only the documented facts: project, project type, period and available records.

Keep them apart

A CO₂ balance, a company's own reductions and voluntary project contributions should be presented separately.

Better avoided

Terms such as “climate neutral”, “CO₂-neutral” or “balanced” in connection with project support.
