- Deutschland plus Mix + PROJECT TOGO verbindet Naturwaldaufforstung in Anlehnung an den Gold Standard mit Waldökologieprojekten in Deutschland. Augenmerk liegt bei PROJECT TOGO neben der Aufforstung auf den Bereichen Bildung, Wasser, Energie, Arbeit und Gesundheit. Project Togo stärkt den Standort und bietet der lokalen Bevölkerung langfristige Perspektiven. Das regionale Engagement in Deutschland wird über einen zusätzlichen Geldbetrag, der zu 100 % an das Bergwaldprojekt e.V. fließt und somit ergänzende Umwelt- und Klimaschutzprojekte ermöglicht, abgedeckt.

Legal classification
What EmpCo permits
Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.
The important limit
No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.
Application
The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.

Keep them apart
A CO₂ balance, a company's own reductions and voluntary project contributions should be presented separately.
