- Deutschland plus Mix + PROJECT TOGO combines natural forest afforestation based on the Gold Standard with forest ecology projects in Germany. At PROJECT TOGO, the focus is on reforestation in the areas of education, water, energy, work and health. Project Togo strengthens the location and offers the local population long-term perspectives. The regional engagement in Germany is covered by an additional amount of money, which flows 100% to the Bergwaldprojekt e.V., thus enabling additional environmental and climate protection projects.

Legal classification
What EmpCo permits
Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.
The important limit
No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.

The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.
