What this page shows — and what it does not

  1. The documented project contributions are voluntary payments supporting selected climate protection measures outside the company's own value chain.
  2. The CO₂e-based reference quantities are not set against a Product Carbon Footprint, a Corporate Carbon Footprint or any other emissions.
  3. The contributions support no statement that a product, a brand or the company is climate neutral, CO₂-neutral, climate-friendly or reduced in emissions.

Documentation note

This page serves documentation purposes only. It is not a certification, not an award and not a statement of environmental quality.

Project overview

The supported projects

The overview lists every project to which at least one documented individual contribution is assigned in the period shown.

Wald Mix

Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever speaks to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, learns the truth. They do not preach lessons and doctrines, they preach carefree about one thing only, the primal law of life. With our Wald-Mix-Portfolio (Forest Mix Portfolio) we combine all possible forms of forest management and forest conservation. In Africa, but also in South America, huge areas of the oldest forests are facing exploitation if we do not finally get involved in their protection.

Legal classification

What EmpCo permits

Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.

The important limit

No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.

Application

The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.

Notes on communication

Information instead of promised effects

Communicate only the documented facts: project, project type, period and available records.

Keep them apart

A CO₂ balance, a company's own reductions and voluntary project contributions should be presented separately.

Better avoided

Terms such as “climate neutral”, “CO₂-neutral” or “balanced” in connection with project support.
