What this page shows — and what it does not

The documented project contributions are voluntary payments supporting selected climate protection measures outside the company's own value chain.
The CO₂e-based reference quantities are not set against a Product Carbon Footprint, a Corporate Carbon Footprint or any other emissions.
The contributions support no statement that a product, a brand or the company is climate neutral, CO₂-neutral, climate-friendly or reduced in emissions.

Project overview

The supported projects

The overview lists every project to which at least one documented individual contribution is assigned in the period shown.

Kombiprojekt Deutschland plus Mix mit PROJECT TOGO

Deutschland plus Mix + PROJECT TOGO combines natural forest afforestation based on the Gold Standard with forest ecology projects in Germany. At PROJECT TOGO, the focus is on reforestation in the areas of education, water, energy, work and health. Project Togo strengthens the location and offers the local population long-term perspectives. The regional engagement in Germany is covered by an additional amount of money, which flows 100% to the Bergwaldprojekt e.V., thus enabling additional environmental and climate protection projects.

Legal classification

What EmpCo permits

Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.

The important limit

No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.

Application

The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.

Notes on communication

Information instead of promised effects

Communicate only the documented facts: project, project type, period and available records.

Keep them apart

A CO₂ balance, a company's own reductions and voluntary project contributions should be presented separately.

Better avoided

Terms such as “climate neutral”, “CO₂-neutral” or “balanced” in connection with project support.
