Project and effect
- Short description
- The combination links a certificate-based project with separately documented direct support. Its focus is on forest ecology; the certificate-based and direct components are reported separately.
- How it works
- The certificate-based component is the Gold Standard project GS 7532 „200 MW Solar Power Project in India by SB Energy“. It generates solar electricity for the grid; project-specific data are checked and verified under the registered methodology. In addition, forest ecology in Germany is supported. The specific measure is agreed with local partners and may concern reforestation, more resilient mixed forests, forest edges, biotopes, peatlands or watercourses. Direct support is provided voluntarily outside the company's own value chain, documented separately, not assigned a CO₂ quantity and not offset against CCF or PCF.

Legal classification
What EmpCo permits
Investments in environmental initiatives may be communicated factually. A project contribution does not have to be certificate-based.
The important limit
No neutral, reduced or positive climate effect of a product may be derived from the project support.

The new rules apply from 27 September 2026.
